TRULY HAND CRAFTED items that are created 100% in the USA!

Aww, the soothing sound of wood wind chimes!

Made from rehabilitated wood (see below to get more specific details)

These measure roughly 14” from top to bottom.

The top circle is 5” and the charms are roughly 2.25”.

They are attached with a strong, mold resistant, twisted poly cord to withstand the weather and wind. I send 2 extra 14 inch strings, just in case.
Each piece of these wind chimes are carefully planed, cut, sanded, etched and sealed by one person; not a mass production machine. I use basic hand tools and a few invented ones.

If there is a “theme” you would like to see, let me know. I am always looking for new ideas.

Most of my images are purchased through paid graphic servers, and any artists name that was included is also on our chimes. We believe everyone should get credit for their hard work!)

So, keep checking back with us as we purchase more designs to etch!

What is Rehabilitated Wood?

Well, we rehabilitate wood by purchasing things like wood pallets or wood rails from shipping trucks.

  • First, we cut the items into smaller, manageable pieces of wood and sometimes pull nails for bigger projects.
  • We then plane the wood to standardize the thickness and consistency of the size and wood grain.
  • Once that is done, we sand each piece of wood with an orbital sander to get out any bigger blemishes.
  • Then, we sand it with a finishing sander, giving it a soft feel and better surface to burn on.
  • Then we blow it off with an air compressor to remove any debris (like saw dust) from the wood to prepare it for lasering.
  • Now it’s ready for the laser burner. An average wind chime will take 2 hours on a laser to create.
  • Once it’s burned, it heads back to the wood shop for finishing sanding.
  • And again, we blow each piece off with the air to remove all debris.
  • And finally, each piece is coated with a gloss poly protective coating to harden the wood, and protect it from sun or wind damage and stain. We dip these (Instead of brushing) so they are sealed well, knowing they will take a lot of abuse outside.
